Career shiftMy career development: applying behavioural science to political violence, crime, radicalisation, information warfare and mass manipulation, drawing on ten years of field experience. Goal: countering international crime and hybrid threats.
First year, 2026 – 2027. Next step: Master's in Security and Defence.
Flipped-classroom presentation: state doctrines (including France's), current conflicts and their effects in France, the psychosocial drivers of manipulation, disinformation tools.
Identifying the psychosocial drivers of violent action, the risks in France and the exploitation of certain social crises, to anticipate them better. Report to be submitted as part of the IRIS Sup' programme.
What I bring to an analysis, investigation or prevention team.
Analysing, understanding and anticipating human behaviour, both individual and collective, through social psychology.
Finding information (data, literature reviews) and generating new data through experimentation, to inform concrete action and support operations.
Running a company, managing projects, giving talks and training: I see a project through from start to finish.
Understanding what drives individuals and groups towards violence, commitment or rupture, and turning it into concrete levers for action.
How violence emerges, takes hold and is regulated within groups, organisations and institutions.
Social identity, identity threat, group norms: the mechanisms that lead from commitment to violent action.
Persuasion, attitude change and counterproductive strategies: what convinces, and what backfires.
